Welcoming the even semester 2020/2021, the Department of Television, Faculty of Recording Media Arts (FSMR), Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Yogyakarta held a Coordination Meeting (Rakor) which was attended by two study programs in the Department of Television, namely, Film and Television Study Program (Prodi) and Animation Study Program (D-3 Study Program) at Pendopo Karang Kadempel Sedayu, Bantul on Wednesday, January 6, 2021. The coordination meeting, which was held outside the campus environment, was still carried out by adhering to health protocols in order to reduce the risk of spreading and transmitting COVID-19. The coordination meeting was opened by the Vice Dean I, Dr. Edial Rusli, S.E., M.Sn. and led by the Head of Television Department, Lilik Kustanto, S.Sn., M.A. The work program of each study program in the next year was presented in the coordination meeting and delivered by each Head of Study Program (Kaprodi), namely Dr. Samuel Gandang Gunanto S.Kom., M.T. as Head of D-3 Animation Study Program and Latief Rahman Hakim, M.Sn. as Head of Film and Television Study Program.
This year, D-3 Animation Study Program will fulfill several targets such as strengthening study program management based on cloud or application by utilizing the office system already owned by FSMR, namely SEMAR (Record Media Electronic Mail). Strengthening cooperation partners is carried out through the signing of a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) with the World of Industry and the World of Work which has been initiated through the Strengthening Vocational Higher Education Program (P3TV).
The Film and Television Study Program presented a work plan that refers to the Main Performance Indicators (IKU) that have been made by the Ministry of Education and Culture, namely improving the quality of graduates, the quality of lecturers, and the quality of curriculum and learning. Some of the programs that will be carried out by the Film and Television Study Program include designing an independent curriculum for independent campus learning, recruiting alumni or practitioners to fill the program. Masterclass, increasing the quantity and quality of research with programs idea bank as well as building a management system for storing and distributing final project work. In closing the coordination meeting on that day, Kajur Television expressed his hope that this event could further enhance the familiarity of the Film Television Study Program and the D-3 Animation Study Program along with the education staff (tendik) and lecturers.
