Yogyakarta, September 10, 2024 - Photography Study Program FSMR ISI Yogyakarta successfully held a two-day workshop entitled "Increasing Cooperation with DUDI Partners" at Gallery Prawirotaman Hotel. This activity is part of the Merdeka Campus Competition Program (PK-KM), which aims to prepare students for the world of work.
Mr. Agus Mulyono, S.P., M.T. Secretary of the DIY Cooperative and SME Agency, said that this collaboration provides great benefits for students. "The internship program at the DIY UKM Cooperative Office provides students with real work experience and professional connections that will expand their career opportunities," he said. A total of 14 FSMR Photography Study Program students will be placed in various divisions such as SIBAKUL Jogja and PLUT Teras Malioboro.
Meanwhile, Ms. Dani Ika Suryandani, owner of "Keewa Shoes," stated that students' involvement in the industrial world helps them develop competencies and understand the dynamics of work in the field. She hopes that students can be better prepared to face future career challenges.
As part of the effort to strengthen the learning process in the Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) environment, the Photography Study Program of FSMR ISI Yogyakarta has signed an agreement with the Faculty of Photography, ISI Yogyakarta. Implementation of Arrangement (IA) with several industry partners. This cooperation will be an important foundation for students to undergo internship and independent study programs, deepening their understanding of the world of work.
Partners who signed the IA with the Photography Study Program include Keewa Shoes, DIY Cooperative and SME Office, Greenhost Boutique Hotel, Westlake Hotel, Bantul Regency Tourism Office, Majulantjar Creative Labs, Jonas Studio Bandung, and File Studio.
