Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta, especially the Faculty of Recording Media Arts (FSMR), is often the destination for high school students to visit for study orientation. Last Friday, February 21, 2020, FSMR received a second visit in the framework of Prakerin SMK Budi Luhur Tangerang, Banten. This visit was specifically aimed at the Film and Television Study Program so that the visiting delegation consisting of 4 accompanying teachers and 36 students was received in Studio 2 of the Film and Television Study Program Building. The group was welcomed and received by the Secretary of Film and Television Study Program and one of the Cinematography lecturers, Pius Rino Pungkiawan.
The event began with a screening of the FSMR profile, a brief presentation of the Film and Television Study Program Profile, an explanation of how to be accepted and study at the ISI Yogyakarta campus and a screening of one of the student's films. The event continued with a question and answer session between students of SMK Budi Luhur who were so enthusiastic about the Film and Television study program. The question material is about career possibilities in the world of film and television, the film and television production process, the new student admission system, scholarships and campus life.
The event lasted almost 90 minutes, ending with the handover of mementos from SMK Budi Luhur and from FSMR ISI Yogyakarta and continued the Campus Tour. The visiting delegation took turns looking at the studios in the Film and Television study program building such as Studio 1 which at that time was making a Final Project film production setting, Master Control Room, Editing Study and Sound Recording Studio.
