The beauty of the archipelago in everyday life has inspired and led Abdullah Syamil Iskandar (Syamil), a student of the Photography Department class of 2019 to become the first winner at the national level photo competition entitled "Focus Nusantara". Anniversary: Beautiful Nusantara Photo Competition" sponsored by Sony, a world-renowned camera manufacturer.
The photo competition was held virtually by Focus Nusantara and Sony through the Instagram accounts of the two competition organizers in March 2020. Hopefully Syamil's victory in the photo competition can further inspire her colleagues to remain active and enthusiastic about their work even in the midst of a pandemic.
