Every university has the right to obtain research and community service funds whose funding is managed by the Directorate of Research & Community Service (DRPM). This funding is intended for all lecturers in universities throughout Indonesia to conduct research and community service. In principle, this funding supports lecturers to practice the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.
As an effort to support this research funding program, the Faculty of Recording Media Arts (FSMR), Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Yogyakarta held a DRPM Grant Proposal FGD event on October 23, 2020 in the AUVI Room FSMR ISI Yogyakarta, which took place from 15.00 WIB to 17.30 WIB. The event was opened by the Dean of FSMR, Dr. Irwandi, M.Sn. accompanied by the Assistant Dean I, Pamungkas Wahyu Setyanto, M.Sn. and attended by lecturers in the FSMR environment. This activity presented two speakers, namely Dr. Junaidi, S.Kar., M.Hum., ISI Yogyakarta Lecturer who has experience in DRPM Grants and one of the staff of the Institute for Research and Community Development (LPPM) ISI Yogyakarta, Tri Mulyono, A.Md.
From the FGD activity, it is hoped that the lecturers who take part in this activity can submit a DRPM submission proposal for the 2021 funding year and register online. Online through the Simlitabmas application that has been provided by the DRPM organizers. Later, these proposals will be selected nationally and those who pass will be given funding facilities according to their respective schemes.
This FGD activity is sharing The FGD discussions and Q&A discussions were relaxed but still serious and motivating for the participants. Some questions were consultative with the resource persons present that day.
