Recorded Media Art "Dies" Work Officially Opened

On Wednesday evening, May 30, 2012, an exhibition and screening of recorded media artworks was officially opened. The theme of the event is "Building Contemporary Human Civilization through Art Education". In this exhibition and screening, artists can display works related to the sides of contemporary human civilization, which are associated with the artist's view of civilization itself. Thus, the works displayed may take the form of recordings, enlightenment, criticism, or other responses to contemporary human civilization.
Before the opening ceremony, the Soedjai Award scholarships were handed over to 6 outstanding FSMR ISI Yogyakarta students. Soedjai is an Indonesian photography figure who greatly appreciates the education and development of photography in Indonesia. As a form of his concern in the world of photography, he provided scholarships for 6 FSMR ISI Yogyakarta students who excel in the field of recording media arts. The awarding of the Soedjai Award to students is the first time and is specifically for first year students. This scholarship is given to spur students' enthusiasm for learning.
