E-LEARNING TRAINING FOR FSMR LECTURERS TO OPTIMIZE ONLINE LECTURES

The new academic year 2020/2021 at the Faculty of Recording Media Arts (FSMR), Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Yogyakarta will begin soon. Responding to the policy of the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemdikbud) to organize online teaching and learning activities as one of the implementations of the Covid-19 protocol in the academic field, FSMR conducted training e-learning for all lecturers who served in the FSMR environment.

Training e-learning This is intended to maximize online lecture activities so that both lecturers and students will be able to carry out learning and teaching activities comfortably and of course remain safe from the risk of transmission and spread of Covid-19. The presence of a special page designed for online lectures will enable lecturers to deliver teaching materials carefully in the form of text and video. Thus, it is hoped that students will also be more focused in the online learning process in the 2020/2021 Academic Semester.

Strict implementation of Covid-19 protocols during training e-learningAlthough the training was held simultaneously for three Study Programs (Prodi) in FSMR on Thursday, August 27, 2020. As an application of distance keeping or physical distancing The training was held in two Computer Lab rooms on the 3rd floor of the FSMR Deanery Building. In addition to on-site training, each lecturer also receives guidelines and modules e-learning in the form of softcopy. Latief Rakhman Hakim, M.Sn., Agnes Karina Pritha Atmani, M.T.I., and Oscar Samaratungga, S.E., M.Sn. acted as mentors in the training. e-learning that day. On the occasion, the Dean of FSMR, Dr. Irwandi, M Sn., hoped that the training e-learning will further improve the performance of lecturers in teaching online. In addition, lecturers are also expected to develop their creativity in creating content for the page e-learning while also 'bringing to life' subdomain academic degree that has been owned by each lecturer at ISI Yogyakarta.
