Welcoming the even semester of the 2020/2021 academic year, the Faculty of Recorded Media Arts (FSMR) of the Indonesian Institute of the Arts (ISI) Yogyakarta held a full faculty meeting on Wednesday, August 26, 2020, online via Zoom Cloud Meeting platform.
Dean of FSMR, Dr. Irwandi, M.Sn., led the meeting by delivering evaluations, information, and expectations for all civitas academica FSMR in preparation for the new academic year. The Dean of FSMR emphasized that the lectures that will be conducted online for the next semester should be approached wisely and with discipline by all lecturers. To support the smooth running of lectures, FSMR will hold training e-learning To all lecturers in the FSMR environment.
On that occasion, Dr. Irwandi, M.Sn. also appreciated all civitas academica FSMR, so FSMR was appointed by ISI Yogyakarta as role model in the environment of ISI Yogyakarta in the development of the Integrity Zone (ZI). Clean and good campus governance, free from corruption, and having a clean bureaucracy in providing services are the main pillars of the Integrity Zone proclaimed by the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture.
In the meeting, Assistant Dean III, Muhammad Fajar Apriyanto, M.Sn., submitted a report and appreciation regarding the achievements of students from three study programs in FSMR, namely Film and Television Study Program, Photography Study Program, and D-3 Animation Study Program. Some students have won regional to national level competitions with great pride.
Meanwhile, a report on the ongoing accreditation process for the D-3 Animation program and the planned accreditation for the Film & Television and Photography programs was delivered by Pamungkas Wahyu Setiyanto, M.Sn., the Vice Dean I. Additionally, it was announced that each lecturer within ISI Yogyakarta, including those in FSMR, now has subdomain which can be immediately activated to support the performance of lecturers in sharing knowledge.
