The submission of the vision and mission or work program of the candidates for dean of the Faculty of Recording Media Arts (FSMR), Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Yogyakarta, took place in the FSMR yard, ISI Yogyakarta on Thursday (13/2). Eleven candidates for dean attended and gave speeches to convey their vision and mission or work program and work plans that will be carried out to advance FSMR. The lively event was attended and opened by the Rector of ISI Yogyakarta, Prof. Dr. M. Agus Burhan, M.Hum.
The prospective dean candidates sequentially conveyed their vision and mission or work program in front of the Rector, invitees, Senate, lecturers, and students who were present. Various work plans submitted by the prospective dean candidates include improving the accreditation of the faculty and existing departments and study programs. In addition, many prospective dean candidates also have a commitment to improve the quality of educational and research aspects, as well as the management and improvement of human resources in order to achieve a superior FSMR and be able to compete in the world of education.
The Rector of ISI Yogyakarta, Prof. Dr. M. Agus Burhan, M.Hum., appreciated the implementation of the delivery of the vision and mission or work program which was held in a relaxed and warm atmosphere but still conducive. He hopes that later a dean will be elected who is truly suitable and has a big commitment to advancing FSMR. Moreover, in the coming years the world of education will definitely change, therefore the dean who is elected later is expected to be able to lead FSMR to adjust to the changing trends in the world of education.
