The Faculty of Recording Media Arts (FSMR), Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Yogyakarta will hold a dean election for the 2020-2024 period. The series of events that have been held since some time ago, began with the selection of prospective dean candidates. Furthermore, a formal administrative process is also carried out to ensure the fulfillment of various requirements by the candidates for dean candidates. One of them is a medical examination which was held on Wednesday (2/12/2020) at the FSMR Deanery Building, Yogyakarta.
The series of activities on that day continued with a briefing on the procedures for presenting the vision, mission or work program of the dean candidates by the election committee. While the delivery or presentation of the vision, mission or work program of the dean candidates will be held on Thursday (13/2/2020). Eleven candidates who will deliver their vision, mission or work program are Dra. Daruni, M.Hum., Dra. Ela Yulaelinah, M.Hum., Dr. Junaidi, S.Kar., M.Hum., Dr. I Nyoman Cau Arsana, S.Sn., M.Hum., Marsudi, S.Kar., M.Hum., Joanes Catur Wibono, M.Sn., Dr. Irwandi, S.Sn., M.Sn., Drs. Joko Tri Laksono, M.A., M.M., Drs. Krismus Purba, M.Hum., M.Mus., and Drs. Arif Eko Suprihono, M.Hum.
The series of activities after the delivery of the vision, mission or work program is the assessment and election of prospective dean candidates by voting to obtain two names of dean candidates in a closed meeting of the Faculty Senate. From the results of the senate's decision, a conclusion will be made on the determination of the two names of the dean candidates to be submitted to the Chancellor. The submission of the names of candidates is also supported by other administrative requirements such as vision, mission, or work program, curriculum vitae, and minutes of screening that have been carried out in accordance with applicable regulations.
Especially for the delivery of vision, mission or work program tomorrow, the atmosphere is packed with festivity. Interesting decorations and musical performances will enliven tomorrow's event which will be held openly. In addition to enlivening and building a warm atmosphere, the event is also intended to provide democratic education to students by witnessing and knowing the extent of the performance and development of FSMR, as well as knowing the vision, mission or work program of the dean candidates to bring FSMR to navigate and adjust to the development of the world of education in the next four years.
