JMMK#12 GET CREATIVE TO DARE TO BE DIFFERENT IN THE MIDST OF A PANDEMIC

Jalan Menuju Media Kreatif (JMMK) #12 which was opened on Friday, (23/10) is proof of the existence of the Faculty of Recording Media Arts (FSMR), Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Yogyakarta to continue to exist during the Covid-19 Pandemic. After being opened by the Rector of ISI Yogyakarta, Prof. Dr. M. Agus Burhan, M.Hum, the art exhibition which took place simply on the sidelines of the pandemic is expected not to reduce the enthusiasm of the community to watch. In the opening, the Rector of ISI Yogyakarta also advised that cooperation with other universities and partnerships should always be maintained because in addition to contributing through art submissions, outside universities are also partners, benchmarks, and competitors for ISI Yogyakarta. The Chancellor also said that FSMR is a very productive faculty, because during the pandemic or not various activities continue even though with different packaging.

JMMK #12 is themed "Creative Media in the Midst of a Pandemic" is a big momentum that always coincides with the anniversary of FSMR, now at the age of 26 years JMMK dares to be different. The Jalan Menuju Media Kreatif (JMMK) #12 exhibition committee conducted a teleconference with Soedjai Kartasasmita during the opening of the JMMK#12 screening at Studio One of the Television Department, FSMR, ISI, Yogyakarta, Friday (23/10). Soedjai Kartasasmita or often nicknamed the maestro of Indonesian palm oil plays an active role in the development of FSMR, one of which is providing scholarships to outstanding students in the FSMR environment.
