As a series of JMMK#12 events, the D-3 Animation Study Program (Prodi) ISI Yogyakarta invited Andi Taru from Educa Studio in the event \"Animation Public Lecture<\/em> \" which was moderated by a D-3 Animation Study Program Lecturer FSMR, ISI Yogyakarta, namely Agnes Karina Pritha Atmani, M.T.I. who currently also holds the mandate as Head of UPT Puskom at ISI Yogyakarta. The event was held on Thursday (5\/11) through Zoom Cloud Meeting<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andi Taru is founder<\/em> from Edica Studio, Andi Taru is personally a Edupreneurship<\/em> and Entrepreneurship<\/em> with various achievements that have been achieved with Educa Studio from sharing knowledge about the world of the animation industry and game<\/em>. Some of the animation films produced by Educa Studio mostly raise the theme of folklore from Indonesia which educates from children to adolescents to be more familiar with the values of goodness, morals, ethics, honesty, and others so that all these values will be easily digested through a film medium. One of the animated films produced by Educa Studio is Riri's Story of Kancil and Crocodile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the experience and knowledge sharing session, Andi Taru presented the material entitled \"Creative Media in the Midst of a Pandemic\" which began by discussing Educa Studio, which at the beginning of its establishment was more focused on the field of creative media. game<\/em> then entered the world of animated films. On that occasion, Andi Taru discussed Educa Studio and also talked about update<\/em> the world of the animation industry. In addition, he also discussed about IP (Intellectual Property<\/em>) because this IP is core business<\/em> a company engaged in game<\/em> and animation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Educa Studio's Animation division was originally intended only for game<\/em> animation only, because the animation in game<\/em> and animation in a movie are very different. Educa Studio tries to concentrate on education to provide solutions for the world of education through animation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Educa Studio's historical journey began in 2011 with the 10 Series PC products Educational Games<\/em> or 10 series game<\/em> PC- or laptop-based education and in 2013 began producing 50 Apps<\/em> (Riri) until in 2019 the folklore animation was made into one episode and began to produce many animated films.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The development of the world animation industry, especially the 3D animation industry, reached an increase of 11% compared to the growth of the animation industry in Indonesia which only amounted to 6.8%. From this development, it can be seen that Indonesia has a lot of homework to catch up with the development of the world animation industry. Currently, the animation industry in Indonesia is still mostly receiving animation industry work from abroad and the hope is that Indonesia can produce its own animation products. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
