The world is always turning. Perhaps this is the right credo to describe the world of photography today. The development of digital photography technology that offers efficiency to its users has not eroded the passion of photography lovers who were curious about the exploration of photo realization using print technology in the early days of photography. Today, slow photography <\/em>is back in vogue. Analog cameras are becoming popular and part of the contemporary culture. Even on the other hand, old photo printing techniques (old photographic processes<\/em>) is also a source of curiosity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Class Online<\/em> title\"The Art of Hand Made Photography<\/em>\" held on 20 June 2020 in collaboration between Mahacaraka Academia, Focus Nusantara, and the Photography Study Program, Faculty of Recording Media Arts (FSMR), Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Yogyakarta, became a means to answer the public's curiosity about the techniques and other potentials of old print photography techniques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Presenting Dr. Irwandi, M.Sn., Dean of FSMR, ISI Yogyakarta, who explores old print photography techniques, class participants Online<\/em> were invited to get to know and enjoy the results of the exploration of old printing techniques that were revitalized and made with methods and materials adapted to current conditions. In his presentation, he showed the process of making a light-sensitive emulsion that can be applied to glass media, which will function like a negative film in analog photography.
