Yogyakarta \u2013 Proud news comes from the Indonesian Institute of the Arts Yogyakarta. Four of its students have been selected as part of the Google Student Ambassador (GSA) 2026, namely Muflichun Cahyo Saputra (Undergraduate Film and Television, Faculty of Creative Media), Carlos Septiawan (Undergraduate Visual Communication Design, Faculty of Fine Arts and Design), Fiora Alicia (Undergraduate Theater), and Keyzia Faninda Putri (Associate Degree Film and Television Production). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not only did they pass as ambassadors, but two of them, Muflichun Cahyo and Carlos Septiawan, also received an exclusive opportunity to attend the inauguration event in person in Jakarta, complete with accommodation and full pocket money from the organizers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The inauguration ceremony for Google Student Ambassador 2026 was held on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at MGP Space SCBD Park, followed by a direct visit to the Google Indonesia office in South Jakarta. During this event, participants not only attended the swearing-in ceremony but also had the opportunity to directly experience Google's work environment, known for its innovation, creativity, and technology-rich atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Google Student Ambassador Program 2026 itself is happening on a much larger scale than previous years. From around 81,000 registrants across Indonesia<\/strong>, only 2,000 students<\/strong> who successfully passed to become an ambassador. Of this number, only a small portion were selected as the top 150 based on registration performance, to get the exclusive experience of attending the inauguration in person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As Google Student Ambassadors, these four students will act as liaisons between Google and the student community on campus. They are expected to promote technological literacy, encourage the utilization of artificial intelligence (AI), and open up collaboration spaces between art, design, and technology at ISI Yogyakarta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This success also reinforces that ISI Yogyakarta students are not only excellent in the arts, but are also capable of competing in the national digital technology and leadership ecosystem. Besides Muflichun and Carlos, two other ISI students, Fiora Alicia from the S-1 Theater Study Program and Keyzia Faninda Putri from the S-1 Film and Television Study Program, were also selected as Google Student Ambassadors 2026, although they did not attend the inauguration event in Jakarta in person. In his statement, Muflichun expressed his pride and enthusiasm, \u201cI am very proud to be one of hundreds of students chosen to attend the inauguration event and witness firsthand the colorful and fun Google office. Hopefully, this experience can be a provision to bring solutions and innovations to fellow students on campus.\u201d<\/em> (Public Relations)<\/p>\n\n\n
