Yogyakarta, February 27, 2025 - The Faculty of Recording Media Arts (FSMR) of Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Yogyakarta received a comparative study visit from the Animation Study Program, Politeknik Multimedia Nusantara. This visit aims to strengthen academic synergy and exchange insights regarding scientific developments in the field of animation and recording media arts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting, which took place on Thursday, February 27, 2025, was attended by FSMR Dean, Dr. Edial Rusli, S.E., M.Sn., along with faculty leaders, namely Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Arif Sulistyono, M.Sn.; Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni, Antonius Janu, M.Sn.; and Head of the Television Department, Dr. Samuel Gandang Gunanto, M.T.. Also present were FSMR Public Relations, Raynald Alfian, M.Phil.; FSMR Animation Study Program Coordinator, Nuria Indah Kurnia Dewi, S.Sn., M.Sn.; and Animation Study Program Public Relations, Rita Keumalasari, M.Sn and 3 lecturer representatives from Politeknik Multimedia Nusantara.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the discussion, both institutions discussed various aspects of the development of education and the creative industry, especially in the field of animation. Some of the main topics discussed included animation technology trends, industry-based learning methods, and collaboration opportunities in animation research and development in Indonesia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deputy Dean of FSMR ISI Yogyakarta, Arif Sulistyono M.Sn., said that comparative studies like this are an important momentum in improving the quality of animation education in Indonesia. \"We welcome the collaboration with Politeknik Multimedia Nusantara. By sharing insights and experiences, we can jointly create an academic ecosystem that is more adaptive to the needs of the creative industry,\" he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through this meeting, it is hoped that FSMR ISI Yogyakarta and the Animation Study Program of Politeknik Multimedia Nusantara can continue to collaborate in various academic programs and research development.
