Yogyakarta, July 6, 2024 -The Photography Department, Faculty of Recording Media Arts, Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Yogyakarta has successfully held an Entrepreneurial Program Orientation Workshop in the framework of the Merdeka Campus Competition Program (PKKM) which took place at Westlake Resort. The event was attended by a number of important stakeholders, including Ms. Kusrini S.Sos M.Sn, Head of the Photography Department, Mr. Martino Dwi Nugroho S.Sn M.A, PKKM Chief Executive, and the Rector of ISI Yogyakarta, Dr. Irwandi S.Sn M.Sn, who officially opened the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop aimed to equalize perceptions and gain new insights in order to produce an entrepreneurial incubator for students in the Photography Study Program through learning strengthening and innovation. The main speaker, Agung Priyo Wicaksono, a Communication Practitioner and also an entrepreneur, provided a comprehensive overview of MSMEs in DIY, as well as the challenges and opportunities faced by this sector after the Covid-19 pandemic. Furthermore, Agung also added various tips on starting a business for students and an overview of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in DIY.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his remarks, Dr. Irwandi appreciated the PKKM program that had started at ISI Yogyakarta and emphasized the importance of entrepreneurial orientation for students, especially in the context of photography. He hopes that this activity can accelerate entrepreneurship and have a positive impact on the Photography Study Program and the Faculty of Recording Media Arts as a whole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This workshop also discussed three main activities in the PKKM Photography Study Program, Faculty of Recording Media Arts, namely: Problem Solving Based MBKM Curriculum Improvement (Case Method<\/em>), Improved industry-standard shooting learning through Project Based Learning<\/em> (PBL) and Photography Entrepreneur Incubator. The FGD which took place very fluidly and full of kinship also presented the PKKM taskforce team of the Photography Study Program as, other speakers who discussed related PKKM advanced programs, namely, Kurniawan Adi Saputro S.IP M.A Ph.D, Pamungkas Wahyu Setiyanto, M.Sn and Raynald Alfian Yudisetyanto M.Phil, also gave their views on strategies to increase learning and partnerships in entrepreneurship through PKKM Photography Study Program in 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event ended with an interactive question and answer session, providing an opportunity for participants to dig deeper into the material presented. This activity is expected to provide a significant impetus in the development of entrepreneurship in the academic environment of ISI Yogyakarta.(PKKM Team)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
