Yogyakarta, November 28, 2025 - A total of 71 students of Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Unggulan Amanatul Ummah Surabaya accompanied by accompanying teachers carried out an educational visit to the Faculty of Recording Media Arts (FSMR), Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Yogyakarta, Friday (28/11/2025).
This official visit aims to provide in-depth insight into the world of recording media arts lectures, as well as an orientation for students in preparing for further studies to favorite majors at ISI Yogyakarta.
The activity which took place at the FSMR Photography Study Program Building began with singing the national anthem Indonesia Raya, followed by an official speech from the Vice Dean III of FSMR, Antonius Janu Haryono, S.Sn., M.Sn.
"This visit is expected to provide a real picture of the preparation that needs to be done so that students can be accepted in the desired department," said Antonius Janu Haryono, S.Sn., M.Sn. who is also a Film and Television lecturer, in his speech.
The series of events continued with a detailed explanation of the study programs in FSMR:
The Animation Study Program was explained by Ginanjar Setyo Nugroho, S.Kom., M.Kom. who explained the learning outcomes in the Animation Study Program.
Photography Study Program was presented by Susanto Umboro, M.Sn. who emphasized the crucial role of the camera as the main recording media.
Film and Television Studies Program (PFT) was presented by Raynald Alfian Yudisetyanto, M.Phil. who highlighted the potential for publication of student work through digital platforms.
The interactive discussion session was active, where the students enthusiastically asked about the prospects of study and student works. The event was closed with the screening of films by students of Film and Television Study Program and Animation Study Program, which successfully inspired the participants of the visit.
The activity which took place from 08.30 to 10.30 WIB ran smoothly and was full of enthusiasm, providing new motivation for MA Unggulan Amanatul Ummah students to continue their studies in the field of art and creative media.
