The Faculty of Recording Media Arts (FSMR) ISI Yogyakarta this time hosted the National Meeting of the Indonesian Photography Study Program Association (SOFIA). The meeting was held on September 29-30, 2017 at AUVI FSMR Room, attended by representatives from ISI Padangpanjang, Tri Sakti University Jakarta, Pasundan University Bandung, ISI Surakarta, and ISI Denpasar. The agenda of this meeting is the discussion of the Curriculum and Strategic Plan of the Association.
The meeting was opened by Marsudi, S.Kar., M.Hum., Dean of FSMR in his remarks The Dean hopes that this association can answer various challenges that are getting tougher. "This association must be able to contribute to photography in Indonesia," said Marsudi.
Through various discussions in this meeting, SOFIA is more solid, and more ready to contribute and cooperate with various parties for the advancement of the Indonesian photography world.
This national meeting produced various points of agreement, namely the revision of Learning Outcomes, increased cooperation in publishing journals, seminars, exhibitions and appointing Indonesian photography figures as honorary members.
