THEME: ACCELERATION AND REFLECTION OF ART & MEDIA IN THE TECHNOLOGY ERA
Art in the fields of cinematography, photography, and animation is currently very accessible through media mobile which content is often presented in short video that are very short in duration. Besides that, the artworks began to be popularly presented both in virtual reality or augmented reality which is a presentation in the form of optical illusions. In art creation, artificial intelligence is beginning to be utilized as a tool to aid in the process of creating works of art. This also raises concerns among artists that artificial intelligence can replace the role of artists in creating works of art. On the other hand, there is saturation in the creation of digital artworks, leading to a trend in creation tangible artwork. “Acceleration and Reflection of Art and Media in the Technological Era” was chosen as the theme representing these art and media issues and trends.
The topics raised in this seminar include, but are not limited to:

- Artificial intelligence as a tool for art creation

- Virtual Reality, augmented reality, and optical illusion media technology in presenting artworks
- Train short video in mobile media
This seminar will be held on Wednesday-Thursday, November 1-2, 2023, and will feature the following keynote speaker:
- Prof. Dr. Ignatius Bambang Sugiharto (Professor, Faculty of Philosophy, Parahyangan Catholic University)
- Dr. Irwandi, S.Sn., M.Sn. (Rector of ISI Yogyakarta)
This seminar will be held offline and online. The seminar opening and keynote speaker presentation will be held offline with limited invitations. Meanwhile, the panel presentations of the presenters will be held online.
