The Animation study program was established with the benefit aspect of developing the nation's resources: both human, natural, cultural, artistic and local characters that are global and characterized by Indonesianness. This is realized in its participation in building competent human resources in terms of expertise and character.
Graduate Prospects
The profile of graduates of the Bachelor of Applied Animation Study Program is formulated based on the occupations that exist in the clustering of expertise in the field of animation which consists of story development skills (editorial), visual artistic development skills, movement development skills (motion) animation, animation technical skills, and managerial skills. In addition, the profile of graduates is also formulated based on the applicable SKKNI in the field of Level 6 animation, namely SKKNI Animation in 2020. Thus, the purpose of organizing the Bachelor of Applied Animation Study Program is to produce Bachelor of Applied Animation (S.Tr.Anim.) who has the ability to produce animation, technical skills, and managerial skills. soft skills and hardskill balanced in innovating so that it has the opportunity to become:
1. Designer of the motion frame system of an animated character (Rigger System Designer)
2. Design of an automatic crowd simulation system for visual effects production (Crowd Simulation System Designer)
3. System designer of SLR mechanics in animation recording (SLR System Designer)
4. Designer and administrative maintainer of technical work mechanics in animation production (Technical System Admin Designer)
5. The artist in charge of developing the cut-out animation technique (3D Animation Development Artist)
6. The artist in charge of developing the cut-out animation technique (Puppeteer Development Artist/Cut-Out)
7. Artist in charge of 2D animation development (2D Animation Development Artist)
8. Designer and in charge of the production of assets/props/characters/environment/appearance/layout/visual concept of an animation production (Asset/Property/Character/ Environment/Visual/Look Development/Layout/ ConceptDesigner)
9. Story designer/editor in charge of story development in animated film production (Editorial/Story/Screenplay Designer)
10. The managing manager and person in charge of the animation production process (Animation Production Manager)
11. Designer of all graphic/visual needs in game production (Game Graphic Designer)
12. The designer pre-visualizes all complex elements visually before the final rendering process (PreVis Designer)
13. Graphic interface designer for human interaction needs with a computer/application/web (GUI Designer)
