The Faculty of Recording Media Arts, Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta in collaboration with Fileacademy.id through the Kedaireka program of the Directorate General of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education and Culture launched a multimedia art fundamental learning video recreation for aspiring entrepreneurs on Tuesday, November 29, 2022. The launch event was held at the Gaia Cosmo Hotel Yogyakarta and was inaugurated by the Rector of ISI Yogyakarta, who on this occasion was represented by the Vice Rector I, Dr. Stepanus Hanggar Budi Prasetya, S.Sn., M.Si. Several prospective entrepreneurs were also present at the event offline and synergized with other attendees consisting of a team of proposers from universities, partners from the World of Business and Industry (DUDI), and several educational institutions around the Special Region of Yogyakarta. In the zoom room, almost hundreds of participants enlivened the rekacipta launch event consisting of various aspiring entrepreneurs and academics from all over the country.
The field of multimedia as an applied art is increasingly developing in terms of technology and distribution, so that the multimedia field has become a professional choice, both in the form of products and services for making multimedia materials in various aspects. Based on these developments, Indonesia needs human resources who can fulfill the job market in the multimedia field. In order to achieve effective education, an innovative education platform is needed at this time. Higher education system that tends to be formal and conducted with a number of very binding norms with a short duration is often considered an obstacle in pursuing the target of graduates who meet the needs of the labor market. On the other hand, the non-formal education industry in the multimedia field seems to be several steps ahead in providing work-ready human resources. In the intersection, it then appears how the learning materials open in the market can really provide comprehensive material, but it turns out that fundamental and academic materials are needed from universities to strengthen the knowledge base of students from non-formal education institutions. Meanwhile, from the university side, the packaging of materials and the distribution system are considered to be the main obstacles.
The Kedaireka program presented by the Directorate General of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education and Culture offers an effective solution in becoming a link and match between universities and industry in terms of educational materials that can be enjoyed by formal and independent learners. The products of this recreation will also answer the urgency of accelerating the transfer of quality knowledge that is in accordance with market needs and is easily accessible.
Faculty of Recording Media Arts (FSMR), Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Yogyakarta through the Head of the Program, Dr. Irwandi, M.Sn., who is also the Dean of FSMR ISI Yogyakarta, together with lecturer member Antonius Janu Haryono, M.Sn. along with six students from FSMR ISI Yogyakarta collaborated with Muhammad Azmi as a DUDI partner with his company called PT. File Studio with brand Fileacademy.id. This collaboration was established in order to run the Kedaireka program for making learning videos involving competent people from both parties, university and industry. Dr. Irwandi, M.Sn. said that the recreated products will be protected by copyright, so that the industry, university people, and teachers will get copyright for the learning videos offered to the public. FSMR ISI Yogyakarta that oversees the study program Photography, Movies and Television, and Animation together with Fileacademy.id has and will continue to develop an innovative online learning platform that suits the needs of the industry and is certainly on target and in-depth in terms of substance. "Another benefit of this program is in the form of copyright and commercial rights for both parties. In other words, the video products produced will appear with a popular approach but based on a strong academic foundation," affirmed the Chief Proposer, Dr. Irwandi, M.Sn.
The launch of Rekacipta "Edtech Fundamental Art Multimedia" on Tuesday (29/11/2022) was also accompanied by a companion event, namely discussions and dialogues with Fileacademy.id alumni along with the submission of Photopreneur Outlook 2023 which is Fileacademy.id's annual routine agenda. All recreated products resulting from this collaboration will be marketed through the Fileacademy.id platform. fileacademy.id as a form of downstreaming the results of research by university personnel together with the industrial world.
