INTERNATIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION: "THE BEAUTY OF TURKIYE" - AN EXHIBITION OF INDONESIA'S FRIENDSHIP WITH TURKEY

Yogyakarta, January 31, 2025 - The Faculty of Recording Media Arts, Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Yogyakarta in collaboration with the Federation of Indonesian Photo Societies (FPSI) and Photographics Arts Federation of Turkiye (TFSF) organized an International Photography Exhibition titled  "The Beauty of Turkiye". The exhibition will take place at FIAP Exhibition Center, Pandeng Gallery, ISI Yogyakarta, from January 31 to February 5, 2025. The opening of the exhibition was held on January 31, 2025, at 09.00 WIB by the Rector of ISI Yogyakarta, Dr. Irwandi, M.Sn., Chairperson of the Federation of Indonesian Senifoto Societies (FPSI), Agatha Anne Bunanta and Chairperson of the Indonesian Senifoto Society. This exhibition is an important platform to strengthen cultural diplomacy between Indonesia and Turkey through visual arts. Through the 90 photographic works on display, visitors will be invited to explore the beauty of culture, traditions and landscapes from both countries. A total of 65 works are from photographers Photographic Arts Federation of Turkiye (TFSF), 15 from the Federation of Indonesian Senifoto Societies (FPSI), and 10 works from the Faculty of Recording Media Arts, ISI Yogyakarta.

This exhibition is a friendship exhibition, exchanging photo exhibitions between three institutions namely the Federation of Indonesian Senifoto Societies (FPSI), Photographic Arts Federation of Turkiye (TFSF) and Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta. In addition, this exhibition is also an exchange of two FIAP Exhibition Centers (FIAP Exhibition Center) that is: FIAP Exhibition Center Indonesia: Pandeng Gallery at Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta (ISI Yogyakarta) in Yogyakarta and FIAP TFSF Exhibition Center in Ankara, Turkey.

FIAP internationally recognized exhibition (FIAP Auspicious) This was the first event in a series of friendship exhibitions, the second of which will be held in Ankara, Turkey in March 2025 under the title "The Beauty of Indonesia" showcasing the beauty and richness of Indonesian culture. (PR)
