Photography Exhibition and Discussion "F E M A L E" INESA ADAMONYTE (Lithuania)

Gestures are significant movements of the body or the use of various movements as an expression of feelings. Gestures that are continuously used turn into symbols (symbolic gestures). Gesture (attitude and hand position) makes a photograph not only interesting but also meaningful. Gesture can tell the mind and self of the model, photographer as well as symbolic in the photography society. The model's body language can be captured through the visuals produced by the photographer through his photos. Symbolism in photography also gives different perspectives from one photographer to another.
Conventional gestures are used and interpreted with ordinary meanings to describe the stages of development of the mind, self and society. Gestures that are highly valued will become symbols as well as part of social action.
The gestures displayed by Inesa Adamonyte in her photographs with the subject matter of women who appear alone or together, illustrate the contradictions that often occur in individuals, the upheaval between heart, mind, heart and mind, anxiety about something, endless questioning about the self. The planned and candid gestures of the models' movements allow for the identity of the photographer and the model to be established.
Gesture is used by Inesa Adamonyte as a facility to convey self-image as a basis for self-mapping and evaluation. And the capacity to convey self-image as an object of evaluation in interaction depends on thought processes. And the mind appears as a selective process in the gesture that is raised as a reaction to interact, communicate, and survive. (Script: Andang iskandar)
