STUDENT COMPARATIVE STUDY ACTIVITIES TO THE STUDENT UNION OF YOGYAKARTA MULTIMEDIA HIGH SCHOOL (STMM)

In an effort to enhance insight and strengthen collaboration between student organizations, the Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Art and Design (BEM FSMR) of Yogyakarta Indonesian Art and Culture Institute (ISI Yogyakarta) conducted a comparative study to the Student Executive Board of Multimedia College (BEM STMM) Yogyakarta on Friday, February 21, 2025. This activity aimed to share experiences, expand networks, and gain new insights regarding organizational management, work programs, and effective leadership strategies.

The series of events began with a welcoming speech from the Head of the Multimedia College of Applied Sciences (STMM), Mr. Agung Harimurti, who briefly explained the profile of the Multimedia College of Applied Sciences. He expressed that this benchmarking visit is expected to be the first step towards closer cooperation between the two Student Executive Bodies (BEM).

One of the important moments in this activity was the presentation of outstanding work programs that had been successfully implemented by both Student Executive Boards (BEM). Participants had the opportunity to discuss directly the strategies and challenges in carrying out these programs, as well as share experiences regarding management in Forum Group Discussion which is one of the events in the study tour series.

Not just exposure Grand Design just, as part of a series of comparative study activities, BEM FSMR had the opportunity to participate Campus tour guided by representatives from the STMM Student Executive Board. Campus tour This aims to provide a real picture of the academic environment and organizational life at STMM, so that BEM FSMR can draw inspiration and apply positive things in managing their respective organizations.

This activity concluded with a group photo session and the exchange of souvenirs as a symbol of respect and appreciation from both BEM parties. With this benchmarking activity, it is hoped that it will provide broad benefits and inspire both BEM parties to continue to grow and innovate within their respective organizations.
