Yogyakarta, December 6, 2024, The Faculty of Recording Media Arts, Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Yogyakarta officially established an international collaboration with a Chinese technology company, Shenzhen Hollyland Technology Co., Ltd. This agreement was marked by the signing of a collaboration agreement that took place on December 5, 2024, and will be valid until December 19, 2025.
Through this collaboration, Hollyland provided a demo device grant in the form of Solidcom SE Global Version - 5s and Pyro Shooting Kit to the Film and TV Study Program, ISI Yogyakarta. These devices will be used for various academic activities and student productions on campus.
During the collaboration period, ISI Yogyakarta is obliged to organize at least three workshops with Hollyland, present videos and documentation of activities every month, and integrate Hollyland's tools in the learning process and campus activities. In addition, students will also participate in a short filmmaking competition using Hollyland's tools, the winner of which will receive a special prize from the Hollyland company.
This collaboration is a strategic step for ISI Yogyakarta in strengthening synergies with global industries, while opening up great opportunities for students to learn directly with professional technology. Terry Jeremiah as a representative of Hollyland is very optimistic about the continuation of this collaboration. By enriching the learning ecosystem while preparing students to face the dynamics of the global creative industry, it will have a significant impact on the development of the film industry in Indonesia.
