Years have passed but the Covid-19 pandemic continues to dynamically hit various parts of the world, even the spread of cases is getting wider and higher. Hospitals, which in the past were always a referral for people who were positively exposed to Covid-19, are now overwhelmed from various sectors so that those who are exposed but without symptoms or with mild symptoms are advised to carry out independent isolation at their respective residences. The increasingly widespread exposure to the virus has finally inflated the number of daily suspected and confirmed positive cases of Covid-19 in many cities including in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, which has recently reached thousands. So, no doubt the Indonesian government immediately imposed Emergency PPKM (Enforcement of Restrictions on Community Activities) which resulted in limited to closed access to logistics, medical, and various other public facilities and infrastructures.
The Faculty of Recording Media Arts (FSMR) ISI Yogyakarta since the beginning of the pandemic has paid serious attention to the handling of Covid-19 in the FSMR environment so that a Task Force (satgas) and Covid-19 volunteers 'Saling Jaga' were formed. In 2020 FSMR held social action activities for all FSMR students who needed help, especially logistics, at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic. This year, the needs during the pandemic turned out to be not only logistics, but also mental support when someone was exposed and had to carry out independent isolation (isoman) or even had to get medical treatment at the hospital, procurement of multivitamins, sanitation needs, and even emergency assistance that knew no time.
This deepening concern has inspired FSMR to again knock on all the doors of the FSMR big family and also anyone who feels moved to join in the FSMR social action "Let's Share" in response to the Covid-19 pandemic response that has not subsided. So, to help the FSMR big family, be it lecturers, tenders, staff, or students affected by Covid-19, the FSMR Covid-19 Task Force 'Saling Jaga' opens donation opportunities for all who feel voluntary to share and spread their positive energy through:
BNI account number 012 138 2378 (a/n Adya A.)
(Add nominal 19 to the last two digits, for example: Rp.100.019,- ; Rp.50.019,-)
Confirmation of proof of transfer can be submitted via CP number:
0818 264 843 (Ari) or 0898 370 9385 (Adya)
The donations are planned to be distributed to the entire FSMR extended family who are in need and will also be shared with small communities around the FSMR environment. Let us at times like this share the spirit of kindness for those affected, so that with mutual care we will be able to go through the Covid-19 pandemic stronger and survive and stay healthy.
