Yogyakarta November 28, 2025 - The Faculty of Recording Media Arts (FSMR) of Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Yogyakarta received an official visit from the Faculty of Culture and Media of the Indonesian Institute of Arts and Culture (ISBI) Bandung on Friday (28/11/2025). The meeting, which took place at the Dean's Building of FSMR ISI Yogyakarta, aimed to conduct a comparative study related to laboratory governance and strengthen inter-institutional synergy through the signing of a cooperation agreement.
The group of guests was led by the Dean of the Faculty of Culture and Media ISBI Bandung, Dr. Cahya, S.Sen., M.Hum. Their presence was warmly welcomed by the Dean of FSMR ISI Yogyakarta, Dr. Edial Rusli S.E., M.Sn., who was accompanied by the ranks of the Deputy Dean, Head of the Department, Head of the Laboratory, and the FSMR ISI Yogyakarta Public Relations team.
The main agenda of this meeting was an audience and discussion regarding academic facility management, especially the management of laboratories and studios in the FSMR ISI Yogyakarta environment. Both parties exchanged insights regarding the standardization and optimization of art education support facilities.
As the culmination of the meeting, both parties agreed to formalize the collaboration through the signing of a Cooperation Agreement (PKS). The signing was carried out by the Dean of FSMR ISI Yogyakarta and the Dean of the Faculty of Culture and Media ISBI Bandung to legalize the basis for future cooperation.
This collaboration is expected to be a strategic step for both institutions. Through this synergy, FSMR ISI Yogyakarta and ISBI Bandung are committed to jointly improving the quality of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education which includes education, research, and community service for the advancement of art education in Indonesia.
