Magelang, January 17, 2025 - The Faculty of Recording Media Arts (FSMR) of Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Yogyakarta visited the H. Widayat Museum in Magelang on Friday, January 17, 2025. The visit was led directly by the Dean of FSMR, Dr. Edial Rusli, S.E., M.Sn., accompanied by the Vice Dean for Field 3, Antonius Janu, M.Sn., Head of Film and Television Study Program, Latief Rahman Hakim, M.Sn., Secretary of Television Department, Pius Rino P., M.Sn., and FSMR Public Relations, Raynald Alfian, M.Phil.
This visit aims to strengthen cooperation and partnership between FSMR ISI Yogyakarta and H. Widayat Museum under the umbrella of the Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) program. One form of cooperation that will be carried out is the implementation of the Internship and Independent Study program for FSMR students in the even semester of 2025.
Through this collaboration, FSMR students are expected to develop competencies in the field of recording media arts by being directly involved in the management and development of programs at the H. Widayat Museum. This collaboration is also a concrete step for FSMR in supporting the MBKM policy which provides space for students to study off campus and expand their experience in the world of the creative industry.
Museum H. Widayat is an art institution that owns H. Widayat's fine art collection and is active in various cultural arts activities. With the establishment of this collaboration, it is hoped that a synergy will be created between the academic world and the art industry in creating graduates who are ready to face challenges in the world of work.
