The short fiction film of the final project of Film and Television study program students entitled "Rahim Puan" won awards at the 2020 Lampung Film Festival, as Best Picture Designer (Muhammad Syahiddan Abdillah) and Best Sound Designer (Wildan Ma "arij). The film was also nominated for Best Film, Best Director Nomination, Best Actress Nomination, Best Picture Editor Nomination, Best Male Supporting Role Nomination, and Best Female Supporting Role Nomination. The Awarding Night of the 2020 Lampung Film Festival will be held online on Saturday, July 11, 2020 through official channel Youtube Lampung Film Festival, at 7:30 pm on that day. In this event, 12 award categories were also announced. The national jury in this festival consisted of Pandri Nadeak (Director of Photography), Greg Arya (Editor), and Ario Rubbik (Director/Co Director). Previously, the movie has also beenscreening via Live IG @fflampung on Friday, June 26, 2020.
The film "Rahim Puan" tells the story of a sewing worker named Ningrum who is forced to marry Agus, the factory owner, because Agus cannot have offspring from his legal wife, Ajeng. Mujiono, Ningrum's father, owes a debt to Agus' family, so the marriage is considered a payoff for Mujiono's family's debt to Agus. Doubts began to arise when Ningrum became heavily pregnant. She could not accept her womb being borrowed just because of money. Ningrum tried to abort her pregnancy in various ways as a form of resistance, but always failed.
This film is a collective final project film of the Film and Television Study Program (FTV) students consisting of Muhammad Syahiddan Abdillah (FTV 2015, Cinematography), Bayu S. Yusi (FTV 2015, Editing), Wildan Ma "arij (FTV 2015, Sound) and Audi Istira Rahmahani (FTV 2015, Makeup and Fashion). Starring Eka Nusa Pertiwi (as Ningrum), Rukman Rosadi (as Agus), Kedung Dharma Romansa (Ningrum's boyfriend), Freddy Rotterdam (as Mujiono), and Tri Wahyu Widowati (Ajeng).
The production of this 24-minute film was carried out in late 2019 to early 2020 with Producer Rickie Zakaria. The film's screenplay was written by Nurrul Nelwan and directed by Muhammad Syahiddan Abdillah and Bayu S. Yusi although Syahiddan's final project responsibility was in the cinematography area (as well as cinematographer) and Bayu S. Yusi in the editing aspect (as well as editor). Sound styling was handled by Wildan Ma "arij while Makeup and Fashion was done by Audi Istira Rahmahani. The Faculty of Recording Media Arts (FSMR) and the Film and Television Study Program congratulated the achievements of the final project film "Rahim Puan" at the 2020 Lampung Film Festival.
