On October 20, 2022, the launching of the short film series "Jogja, Kamu & Rindu" was held at CGV Hartono (Pakuwon) Mall Yogyakarta. This short film, which features tourism in 5 regencies / cities of Yogyakarta, was produced by the Borobudur Authority Agency (BOB) in collaboration with the Faculty of Recording Media Arts ISI Yogyakarta. This film was made in an effort to increase Brand Awarenes related to the potential of Tourist Attractions (DTW) and Creative Economy (Ekraf) activities and products in Yogyakarta. The movie entitled Tourism in the National Tourism Destination (DPN) Borobudur - Yogyakarta and its surroundings displays the wealth or potential potential that exists throughout the province of DIY.
This short film is packaged in the form of a story film. "Jogja, Kamu & Rindu" is the story of a novelist who goes on a research trip in Yogya, his life changes when he meets a travel vloger who is creating content in Yogya.
"Jogja, You and Rindu" consists of 5 episodes, namely "Meeting", "Looking for Your Shadow", "Destiny", "Not Him" and "Healing". The story location of each episode represents a tourist location from 1 district. This movie was made to introduce people to new tourist sites that are still not popular. In addition to tourist attractions, the featured culinary and craft of each district are also shown.
Episode 1 of "Meeting" features Yogya's new tourism program, the Monalisa Trail. It is a bicycle tour offer through 5 lanes in the city. The paths are, path 1 (Romansa Kota Lawas), path 2 (Tilik Jeron Benteng), path 3 (Jajah Kampung Susur Sungai), path 4 (Jelajah Harmoni Pesona Kampung) and path 5 (Taman Pintar, Taman Budaya).
Episode 2 "Looking for Your Shadow" introduces several Sleman regency tourist destinations known for sport tourism. These places are Bungker Merapi, Barong Temple, Ngamplong natural fiber craft village, Nawang Jagat, Kaliurang Explore and Candari.
Episode 3 of "Destiny" raised the theme of historical tourism "Bantul Bumi Mataram". The movie locations are Pleret Site, Kerto Site, Singasaren, Watu Gilang Site, Imogiri Tomb, keris craftsmen, silver craftsmen, wayang beber craftsmen and wedang uwuh Imogiri culinary.
Episode 4 "Bukan Dia" carries the tourism of Kulon Progo Regency with the theme Sambanggo. The tourist attractions used as story locations are Khayangan Dam, Kiskenda Cave, Tritis Tea Garden, Ki Suko Tea Processing, Widosari Peak,
Rajendra Farm, Glagah Beach and Lendah Batik Craft Village.
Episode 5 "Healing" highlights Gunung Kidul tourism with the theme of Geopark. The featured tourism locations are Turunan Forest, Kali Suci Cave, Wedi Ombo, Nglanggeran Ancient Mountain, Batik Mask Craft Village, Omah Coklat Nglanggeran and Sego Abang culinary.
It is hoped that the movie "Jogja, Kamu & Rindu" can introduce new tourist attractions and increase tourist visits in Yogya. The movie can be watched on the Borobudur Authority website starting early November 2022. (Endang Mulyaningsih)
