FSMR ISI Yogyakarta is located in the southern part of Yogyakarta. From the city center of Yogyakarta is approximately 6.5 km south of the highway to the tourist area of Parangtritis Beach. The environment is not far from the city, with a rural natural atmosphere that has the potential for arts, tourism, and crafts, creating a natural atmosphere and strongly supporting the existence of a comfortable and beautiful campus, as well as being able to foster inspiration for the academic community in creating works and teaching and learning processes.

The Faculty of Recording Media Arts has three buildings consisting of the Dean's Building, Television Department Building, Photography Department Building, in which there are administrative support office spaces, theoretical and practical lecture rooms, libraries, audio-visual rooms, laboratories, studios and galleries. In addition, it is also equipped with a nature studio, garden, campus canteen, and various supporting facilities with modern technology to support the teaching and learning process.
