Yogyakarta, July 14, 2025 - The Faculty of Recording Media Arts (FSMR) ISI Yogyakarta established cooperation with the Regional Indonesian Broadcasting Commission (KPID) DIY. The event was attended by leaders and staff of both institutions.
This cooperation aims to strengthen collaboration in the fields of media, broadcasting, and education, especially in the DIY region, and encourage the formation of a good broadcasting ecosystem through synergy between KPID and academics.
The Dean of FSMR ISI Yogyakarta, Dr. Edial Rusli, S.E., M.Sn., in his speech introduced the ranks of FSMR and expressed his appreciation for this collaboration initiative as an effort to build synergies between the world of higher education and industry.
The Chairman of KPID DIY, Hazwan Iskandar Jaya, S.P., also introduced the KPID board and conveyed the importance of regulations, local institutions, communities, and cultural content as pillars of broadcasting. He emphasized the great potential of local content in Yogyakarta, especially in the form of educational broadcasts.
The development of digital technology is considered to open up great opportunities for students to create innovative content. KPID DIY has established cooperation with various universities, including FSMR ISI Yogyakarta, to support quality and relevant broadcasting.
The Coordinator of Broadcasting Policy and System Development, Novianti Roficoh, S.I.Kom., said that this cooperation includes various activities, one of which is the "KANTIYO" program which will be implemented in August. Both parties agreed to continue to maintain active communication for the smoothness and sustainability of the cooperation program.
As a symbol of collaboration, souvenirs were exchanged between FSMR ISI Yogyakarta and KPID DIY, as a form of commitment to build a sustainable relationship.
This cooperation is expected to have a positive impact on the development of regional broadcasting and the creation of a creative, competent and culturally minded young generation. (Public Relations)
