The Computer-Based Written Test (UTBK) in the framework of the Joint Selection for State Universities (SBMPTN) is an entrance test for State Universities conducted by the Higher Education Entrance Test Institute (LTMPT) as a standardized college test organizing institution in Indonesia.
ISI Yogyakarta is one of the UTBK center locations organized by LTMPT. During this pandemic, the implementation of UTBK-SBMPTN is different from previous years. State Universities (PTN) can organize UTBK-SBMPT with the permission of the local COVID-19 Task Force. In this case, ISI Yogyakarta can organize UTBK with the permission of the Bantul Regency Regional Government COVID-19 Task Force. Permission from Bantul Regency to organize UTBK is given if test participants from outside the DIY province are able to show a COVID-19 Free Letter and are able to fulfill the provisions of staying in DIY for only 3 days. If there are participants with KTPs outside DIY, but already living in DIY, they must attach a Domicile Letter, known to the local RT / RW.
The results of the LTMPT Hearing with the House of Representatives regarding the implementation of UTBK-SBMPT, Health and COVID-19 Protocols must be prioritized, namely by Social & Physical Distancing and health checks/body temperature checks for participants. The number of exam sessions per day from 4 sessions to 2 sessions per day, so that the distance between sessions can minimize the crowd in one place.
UTBK-SBMPT was held for ten days, namely on July 5-14, 2020 and was held simultaneously throughout Indonesia. ISI Yogyakarta UTBK Center provides 11 computer lab rooms, consisting of 5 computer labs at the Faculty of Fine Arts, 4 computer labs at the Faculty of Recording Media Arts, 1 computer room at UPT Library, and 1 room at UPT Puskom. UTBK Preparation in FSMR Environment
Various ways are taken by institutions and communities to reduce the level of risk of Covid-19 transmission, one of which is by implementing social distancing and physical distancing. Just like the Faculty of Recording Media Arts (FSMR) which became the venue for the Computer-Based Written Test (UTBK). FSMR prepares 1 exam room in the Photography Study Program Building, 3 exam rooms in the FSMR Dean's Building, and 1 room. server in the FSMR Dean's Meeting Room. Each exam room is guarded by one supervisor who is assisted by one room technician.
According to the Head of the Computer Center (Puskom) ISI Yogyakarta, Agnes Karina Pritha Atmani, ST., MTI as the ICT (Information and Communication Technology) Coordinator, when rechecking and synchronizing server in the Computer Laboratory of the Department of Photography, said that the provisions for taking the UTBK exam such as health certificates and Covid-19-free letters are adjusted to their respective regional regulations and regional regulations that apply in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY). UTBK Implementation in FSMR Environment
The implementation of UTBK this time also pays attention to health protocols to prevent transmission of the Covid-19 virus. The standard Covid-19 protocol is still carried out by wearing a mask, washing hands, and checking body temperature before taking the exam. Participants are required to arrive at least 60 minutes before taking the exam, so they can follow the protocol standards and register carefully. In addition to following health protocols and screening health at the FSMR gate, participants are expected to avoid crowds. For this reason, participants are welcome to enter or leave the exam room one by one according to the supervisor's instructions. Each exam session is carried out by utilizing 50% computers in the room in order to maintain distance between participants. The first session (morning) started at 09.00 WIB and the second session (afternoon) at 14.00 WIB. Disinfectant spraying was also carried out by general department colleagues, which was divided into three points, namely the garden, waiting room, and exam room. In addition to health protocols, the confidentiality of exam questions is also considered by the committee. Therefore, several CCTV cameras in the exam room are adjusted in such a way, so as not to record the screen when the exam is being carried out. As Assistant Dean II of FSMR, Deddy Setyawan, M.Sn. said, "Today FSMR has guests from various regions, let us create a safe, comfortable, and conducive atmosphere in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic so that the implementation of UTBK runs smoothly. I hope this atmosphere will soon return to normal so that the implementation of UTBK can run well," he said.
According to the committee's observations, there were no significant obstacles, the attendance rate and the level of order were good. The hope of the FSMR family is that the situation will improve in the future so that future examinations can run as usual.
