Social media currently plays a very important role in the world of communication in order to convey various information for a series of activities both at the Faculty level and at the Department / Study Program (Prodi) level. The Faculty of Recording Media Arts (FSMR) ISI Yogyakarta currently has three study programs, namely Film and Television Study Program, Photography Study Program, and Animation Study Program. All three need to convey information to the public about what activities have been and will be carried out by each of these study programs. To harmonize the information aspects of each study program, clear and directed coordination is needed, so that later the uploaded information can be digested properly by the public appropriately.
This became the subject of discussion in the FSMR Public Relations coordination meeting on June 24, 2020 which was chaired directly by the Dean of FSMR, Dr. Irwandi, S.Sn., M.Sn. along with Assistant Dean I, Pamungkas Wahyu Setiyanto, M.Sn. and Head of FSMR Public Relations (Kahumas), Adya Arsita, M.A. and attended by Heads of Study Programs (Kaprodi) and Secretaries of Study Programs (Sekprodi) along with Heads and Heads of FSMR.

In the Public Relations coordination meeting, FSMR Dean Dr. Irwandi, S.Sn., M.Sn. emphasized that there are several things that need to be considered and improved, including so that news dissemination is more informative and sustainable and can synergize with FSMR's social media, namely Facebook and Instagram which must be optimized immediately, then each news coordinator in each study program can always build the 'myth' of each study program and of course also the Faculty so that every news uploaded is truly informative and represents each study program. From this presentation, the Dean of FSMR also evaluated that the supply of news content was felt to be uneven quantitatively, thus it is hoped that there will be increased cooperation and coordination in each study program to always routinely share information so that the news can be uploaded to the FSMR Web.
On the same occasion, the Assistant Dean I also advised that there should be an increase in the synchronization of editorial frames starting from the news coordinator at the Prodi level to the Faculty which will then go through the editorial frame. proofread from Kahumas and finally uploaded by the Web Administrator.
After the coordination meeting with the Dean was over that afternoon, the FSMR Public Relations team continued at the same time with briefing to immediately share tasks as a form of integrity in implementing the results of the meeting. One of the routine agendas that will be held is periodic evaluation to strengthen and improve FSMR ISI Yogyakarta's public relations coordination.
