FSMR ISI Yogyakarta Achieves International FIBAA Certification for Two Study Programs

Yogyakarta, April 13, 2026 – The Faculty of Recorded Media Arts (FSMR) of the Indonesian Institute of the Arts Yogyakarta has once again achieved a proud international accomplishment. Through a comprehensive evaluation process, the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA) has officially granted international accreditation certification to two study programs within FSMR: the Photography Study Program and the Film and Television Study Program.

The decision was made by the FIBAA accreditation committee on March 27, 2026, in Bonn, Germany. This certification is valid until March 26, 2031, and was awarded based on the fulfillment of international quality standards in higher education.

This achievement affirms FSMR's commitment to maintaining and improving the quality of education in the field of recorded media art, in terms of curriculum, governance, and relevance to global creative industry developments.

The Dean of FSMR stated that this recognition is the result of the collective work of the entire academic community and serves as a strategic foundation for expanding international networks and enhancing graduate competitiveness on the global stage.
