Yogyakarta, August 24, 2025 - The Photography Department Student Association (HMJ), Faculty of Recording Media Arts, Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Yogyakarta, made a preparatory visit to Tugu Station Yogyakarta on Saturday, August 24, 2025. This visit is part of the initiation of cooperation between the Faculty of Recording Media Arts ISI Yogyakarta with Batik Lawasan and PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) Daop VI Yogyakarta.During the visit, the students met with Mr. Aziz, Head of Tugu Yogyakarta Station, to discuss the implementation of the “Jogja Where to Go” photography exhibition which will be held in the station area. This exhibition is designed as a space for creative expression and promotion for photography students, as well as a medium to present interesting visual works to the wider community.In addition to meeting with the station, the students also conducted photo shoots around the station area as part of the exhibition preparation. Prior to the activity, all participants were briefed on the accessible areas and safety protocols that must be followed.
This activity is a manifestation of the Faculty of Recorded Media Arts at ISI Yogyakarta's commitment to contribute to introducing art and preserving local culture, as well as disseminating knowledge of recorded media to the wider community through strategic public spaces like Tugu Station.
