YUDISIUM FSMR ISI YOGYAKARTA EVEN SEMESTER PERIOD 2024/2025

Yogyakarta, June 26, 2025 - The Faculty of Recording Media Arts (FSMR) ISI Yogyakarta organized the following event "Judiciary" to mark the graduation of students in the even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. In the event, Vice Dean I Arif Sulistiyono, M.Sn. reported that 103 students graduated from the three study programs of Photography, Film and Television, and Animation, including students from ISBI East Kalimantan.

Graduates recorded achievements such as the fastest study period of 3 years and 9 months. A total of 17 students achieved the cum laude title and will be graduated directly by the Rector, with the note that verification is still ongoing and students are asked to immediately complete the diploma requirements.

Meanwhile, in his speech Dean of FSMR Dr. Edial Rusli, S.E., M.Sn. said that the alma mater suit has its own history for students, because it is worn in moments that mark an important journey while at ISI. He also emphasized that the graduation letter can be used to apply for work or further study, and students are asked to immediately take care of documents such as graduation letters, and tracer studies. After remarks from the Dean of FSMR, Dr. Edial Rusli, S.E., M.Sn. read out the graduation certificate as a sign that the students have officially graduated and fulfilled all academic requirements.

After the reading of the certificate of graduation by Dean of FSMRThe event continued with a procession of award certificates to students with high accumulated scores during the study period. This certificate is given as a form of appreciation for outstanding academic achievement, as well as a motivation for other graduates to continue to maintain quality and integrity in their work.

The certificate submission was carried out directly by the Dean of FSMR who was accompanied by the faculty leaders, witnessed by lecturers, education staff, and all graduation participants. After the handover procession was completed, the event continued with a group photo session as a form of memory and appreciation for the achievements of the graduates.

Then the event continued with remarks from representatives of graduated students who conveyed messages and impressions during their education at FSMR ISI Yogyakarta.

In his speech, he expressed his gratitude to the Dean of FSMR, all faculty leaders, lecturers, staff, and fellow students for their togetherness and support during his studies at the Faculty of Recording Media Arts (FSMR) ISI Yogyakarta.

He highlighted the significant changes that have occurred in FSMR since his batch entered in 2018, ranging from facilities to academic dynamics, and stated that all of these experiences have become a valuable part of his journey. Although his study period was relatively long, he emphasized that he never regretted studying at FSMR because the knowledge and values gained were very useful, both for the world of work and life in the future. As a closing message, he hopes that all graduates can feel the same way, proud and not regret having been part of FSMR.

Then before the event ended, Vice Dean III A. Janu Haryono, S.Sn., M.Sn. conveyed the importance of alumni to join IKA FSMR (FSMR Alumni Association) as a forum for communication and collaboration across generations. Alumni are expected to stay connected and play an active role, especially when they have worked or established their own businesses.

He emphasized that the campus will conduct a tracer study about 6 months to 1 year after graduation, to record alumni career sustainability. This data is important for institutional interests, accreditation, as well as opening up collaboration opportunities such as internships, cooperation projects, and academic activities. He also said that alumni involvement is needed as a strategic partner of the campus, both as speakers, industry players, and providers of employment opportunities.

The event ended with a family spirit, with the hope that all graduates will maintain good relations with the alma mater. With the end of the whole series of activities, the event Judiciary of the Faculty of Recording Media Arts ISI Yogyakarta Even Semester Academic Year 2024/2025 officially closed.
