Yogyakarta, February 13, 2025 - The Faculty of Recording Media Arts (FSMR) of Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Yogyakarta received a visit from Dreamboxa branding agency that is now transforming into a digital agency. This meeting aims to build cooperation in internship programs and joint projects, designed to provide industrial experience to students.
This meeting took place on *Thursday, February 13, 2025, and was attended by *Dean of FSMR, Dr. Edial Rusli, S.E., M.Sn., along with the faculty leaders, namely Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Arif Sulistyono, M.Sn.; Vice Dean for General Affairs and Finance, Oscar Samaratungga, S.E., M.Sn.; Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni, Antonius Janu, M.Sn. Also present were the Head of the Television Department, Dr. Samuel Gandang Gunanto, M.T.; Coordinator. Animation Study Program Nuria Indah Kurnia Dewi, S.Sn., M.Sn., FSMR Public Relations, Raynald Alfian, M.Phil.; and Animation lecturers including Rita Kemalasari, S. Pd., M.Sn, Tegar Andito, S.Sn., M.Sn. .
During the discussion, FSMR and Dreambox agreed to design a cooperation scheme in the form of internships and joint projects for students, which will be formalized through the preparation of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) and Implementation Arrangement (IA). This agreement aims to provide real-world experience in the digital creative industry, expand students' professional networks, and enhance their skills according to market needs.
As a digital agency with a long track record in the creative industry, Dreambox has partnered with various multinational companies, including Apple. This advantage is an added value for FSMR students to gain broader industry insights.
Dean of FSMR, Dr. Edial Rusli, S.E., M.Sn., said that this collaboration is a strategic step for the faculty in strengthening the link and match between academia and industry. "We hope this program provides real benefits for students in building skills that are relevant to the professional world of work," he said.
With this collaboration, FSMR ISI Yogyakarta further strengthens its role as an educational institution that is adaptive to the development of the digital creative industry, while opening up opportunities for students to be better prepared to face professional challenges in the future.
