Thursday, February 6, 2025 - An educational visit to the Faculty of Recording Media Arts (FSMR) of Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Yogyakarta became a valuable experience for students from SMKN 1 Pungging Mojokerto and SMK Media Informatika Pesanggrahan. This activity aims to provide in-depth insight into the world of recording media arts and introduce various study programs at FSMR ISI Yogyakarta.
The visit began with a company profile screening of FSMR ISI Yogyakarta, which provided an overview of the faculty, facilities, and study programs offered. The participants were then officially welcomed by representatives of FSMR ISI Yogyakarta, including lecturers and academic staff who provided motivation and a brief explanation of the world of recording media arts. After the welcoming session, the students had the opportunity to watch one of the final works of FSMR ISI Yogyakarta students entitled Orderan Janda. This movie is a real example of the results of student creativity and skills in the field of film production, providing inspiration for participants to better understand the process of professional filmmaking.
Furthermore, each study program at FSMR ISI Yogyakarta presented material related to their fields. In this session, the students gained insight into the knowledge learned in each study program as well as career prospects in the creative industry. The activity was then closed with an interactive discussion session, where students could ask directly to lecturers and students of ISI Yogyakarta regarding learning experiences, the recording media arts industry, and opportunities in the world of work.
Through this visit, it is hoped that the students will gain a broader insight into the world of recording media arts and be motivated to develop their creativity and skills in this field. (ZZ-Humas)
