Students of Photography Department FSMR ISI Yogyakarta Class of 2015 held an exhibition of old photographic processes or popularly called oldprint photos at Melting Pot Eatery and Cafe Jl. Suryodiningratan 37B Yogyakarta. As stated by Dr. Irwandi in his remarks as the lecturer of the course that "this exhibition is an exhibition of the results of the old print course which used to be called the process of imagery".
Before opening the joint exhibition Professor Soeprapto Soedjono, M.F.A., Ph.D. Pamungkas as PD I FSMR ISI Yogyakarta representing the Dean of FSMR who was unable to attend, gave a speech. In his speech he said "the oldprint process is different from the digital process. If digital is the use of technology to be creative, but with oldprint further than that, we are invited to process creatively by being patient, careful, observing, recording and experimenting with discipline. Because if not, all experiments will fail".
The exhibition, titled 'lawasan', showcased around 130 oldprint works printed on various media such as wood, glass plates, ceramics, fabric, paper, t-shirts. The exhibition runs from December 22-24, 2016.
